The Problem
<You've read the books. You've downloaded the apps. You've started the routine.. again.
And then life happened. Or your brain happened. Or both.
The problem isn't that you don't know what you need to do. The problem is that ADHD makes doing it feel impossible without the right structure around you.
Talk therapy can help you understand why. But it won't build the systems your brain needs to actually function.
That's where coaching comes in.
What ADHD Coaching Actually Is
This is not therapy. This is the work after therapy.
ADHD coaching is action-based, future-focused, and built around one question: What does your life need to look like for your brain to thrive?
We don't explore the past. We build the present.
Together, we work on:
The impulse buys that wreck your budget before you notice
The deadlines that sneak up and then explode
The routines you start on Monday and abandon by Wednesday
The shame spiral that follows all of the above
The environment around you that's set up for someone else's brain
ADHD won't be solved by talking about it. It shifts when you change your environment, your systems, and who's holding you accountable.
That's the work we do.
Why Me
I'm not just your coach. I've lived this.
I'm Nathalie O’Brien, Registered Social Worker, ADHD brain, and the person who built La Rosa from four clients and zero safety net after leaving a federal government career that was quietly breaking me.
Three burnouts. A late ADHD diagnosis. Years of trying to fit my brain into systems that were never designed for it.
I know what it's like to be high-functioning on the outside and completely drowning on the inside.
I also know what it looks like when things finally click — when you stop fighting your brain and start building a life that actually works for it.
That's what I bring to coaching. Not just credentials. Evidence.
My background as a Registered Social Worker means I understand the clinical picture. My lived experience means I understand the real one.
Available to adults across Canada and worldwide via virtual sessions.

No. ADHD coaching is not therapy and does not replace it. We don't explore past trauma, diagnose conditions, or treat mental health. If you're looking for therapy, you can find that on the Therapy page. Coaching is for adults who want practical support, accountability, and systems — not clinical treatment.
-
No. Coaching is not a clinical service and is not covered by health insurance or extended benefits. This is an out-of-pocket investment.
-
No. Many adults come to coaching with a late diagnosis, a suspected diagnosis, or no diagnosis at all. If you recognize yourself in what's written on this page, that's enough to start a conversation

No. To maintain clear professional and ethical boundaries, I don't offer both services to the same client. If you're currently a therapy client and want to explore coaching, we'd need to discuss that transition first.

My background as a Registered Social Worker means I understand the clinical and emotional landscape of ADHD in a way most coaches don't. I'm not reading from a framework. I've lived this, studied it, and worked with it clinically for years. That combination is the difference
